Turks and Caicos Named Best SUP Paddleboarding Destination

This week the Caribbean Journal named the, “Best Caribbean Stand-Up Paddleboarding Destinations” and the Turks & Caicos Islands topped their list.

The article stated that our, “turquoise seas are a haven for paddle boarders” and we couldn’t agree more. Guests staying at The Sands at Grace Bay are able to enjoy free use of our watersports equipment during their stay, including stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks, hobie cats, and windsurfing and snorkeling gear.

Additionally, Provo’s Big Blue Unlimited offers SUP instruction and optional SUP eco-tours including a “Paddleboarding Wilderness Safari” that takes paddlers on an ocean adventure to explore the remote cays, mangroves, tidal creeks, and bird and marine life that can be found around our beautiful island.

We encourage you to try the increasingly popular sport of paddleboarding on your next visit to The Sands! It’s not only a fun and relaxing way to enjoy our turquoise waters, but it’s also a full body workout for those looking to stay active during their Turks & Caicos trip.
