Swimming - The theme of water is reinforced at the resort by 3 free-form pools flowing throughout the central garden courtyard connected by canals. The pools are adorned by a cascading waterfall, a relaxing Jacuzzi and small grottoes. An additional circular swimming pool is beachside. Guests can also enjoy the turquoise waters surrounding the white sand beaches at Grace Bay at this beachfront resort.
Water Sports and Biking - Guests have the opportunity to experience a multitude of water and sport activities courtesy of The Sands at Grace Bay. To fully appreciate what Grace Bay Beach has to offer, The Sands at Grace Bay provides free use of kayaks, windsurfing equipment, snorkel gear and Hobie Cats between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. All water equipment can be reserved at the Beach Hut. Bicycles are available from 6:00 a.m. until dusk and can be reserved at the front desk.
Scuba Diving - Providenciales is world-renowned for its scuba diving. The healthy barrier reef surrounding the island, the third largest of its kind in the world, is home to millions of corals, tropical fish and other underwater companions - dolphins, hawksbill turtles, manta rays, nurse sharks, and many more. Scuba diving excursions by Ocean Vibes are available and can be arranged directly at the tour desk.
Tennis - Tennis is played on an all-weather court from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is lit for night play. Racquets are provided when guests reserve their court time at the front desk. Tennis balls are for sale at the resort's convenience store. Private lessons are available to guests who want to improve their game.
Indoor Fitness Gym - Guests who want to stay in shape during holiday can visit the fitness gym daily between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. The gym houses step machines, stationary bikes and treadmills.
Golf - The Sands at Grace Bay is ideally located within a ten-minute drive to the 18-hole, 72-par championship course at Provo Golf Club. The Club has a reputation as one of the best and most challenging golf courses in the Caribbean. A four-tee position system ensures that this course is a challenge for golfers of all calibers. Golf lessons can be arranged by appointment. Twelve-acres of inland lakes and marsh, West Indies-style clubhouse, Fairways Bar and Grill and a Pro Shop make this Club a must-see for avid and curious golfers.
